Sweetwaters Tented Camp

Only 217 kilometers from central Nairobi, this extraordinary Tented Camp and Ol Pejeta Ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. Situated in a reserve which comprises of the lush grasslands and forests that border the Ewaso Nyiro River the Ol Pejeta House is a beautiful private house set within the pristine calm of the Sweetwaters wilderness.

This private sanctuary provides every visitor with an unforgettable Kenyan experience. The 39 thatched tents have been designed in a cluster facing the waterhole and the snow capped peaks of mount Kenya. Each well appointed room with its African styled themes and accents has ensuite bathrooms. The guest rooms have access to hair dryers, shavers and sockets. Laundry and valet services are also provided. A secretarial as well as internet service can be provided.

The accommodation offered in the Ol Pejeta House is more private aimed at someone more interested in farmhouse hospitality and history then settle in and stay with us in either one of the superior guest rooms with queen size beds and luxurious balconies with excellent views of the wildlife on the savannah. Or settle for a double bed in the ensuite standard guest room with views of the same lush landscape. There is also a cottage with 2 deluxe rooms and a fireplace.

Lovely five course cuisines with a selection of African, Asian and International dishes are only one of the many dining options available. A variety of Bars and Restaurants will defiantly tantalize your taste buds. There is The Kashoggi Bar and Lounge, Waterhole Bar, or our personal favourite the Rhino Restaurant, just to mention a few options.

Enjoy close encounters with the local wildlife in their natural Habitat, as you join in for a day or night four wheel safari drive. Our resident naturalist will accompany you on nature walks, bird watching, camel trekking and lion tracking.
