The Sarova Shaba Game Lodge located in the Shaba Reserve only 314 kilometers from Nairobi. Sarova Shaba is the only game lodge located in the 239 square kilometer National Reserve. Set on a natural oasis this game lodge offers its guests spectacular views of the African geography and animal life that is unique to its area.

The Game Lodge has a total of 85 luxurious rooms decorated with local traditional furnishings and blends into the environment. With lovely views of the river, each the thatched chalets has their own elegant ensuite bathrooms and shower unit. Each room is fully equipped against the dry savannah heat and the mosquito population with both mosquito nets and fans in every room. The presidential suite is complete with a private Jacuzzi and lounge.

The Lounge Bar and Poolside Bar offer a variety of cuisines to suite your palate. Conferences are hosted in the Doum Room designed with large French windows overlooking the fishpond. Up to a 100 delegates can be seated and catered for in the conference facility completely equipped with audio visual equipment and secretarial services. Team building packages are also available on request. The services provided by for guests on the premises consists of a Bureau de Change, free safety deposit boxes, laundry and valet services and babysitting services.

The resort has a few very entertaining activities, including feeding and viewing the crocodiles from the deck , bird watching (over 350 different birds species) and guided nature walks, camel rides, listen to the resident naturalist presenting a slide show and lecture on the local fauna and flora, observe and meet the Samburu traditional dancers and escorted Game walks and drives. You can always just lounge at the sparkling pool and bar. Why not have a massage - you can pick from a variety of messages on offer.
