Little Shompole

Little Shompole consists of two vast private suites, located just a few minutes walk from the main Shompole lodge, but position with utmost consideration for privacy and exclusivity. Little Shompole is located on the slopes of the Nguruman Escarpment overlooking the Great Rift Valley. It is 120km south of Nairobi on a 35 000 acre core conservation area surrounded by 140 000 acres of Shompole Group Ranch which provides a dispersal of wildlife and buffer zone to human settlement.

Each suite boasts it own lounge are, cool pool and spacious sun deck. Both rooms share a private mess and a stunning horizon pool that overlooks the Lake Natron basin and the volcanic slopes of Nothern Tanzania. Guests at Little Shompole will enjoy the service of a dedicated team of stuff, private guide as well as a butler service.

Two spacious suites open to expansive and breathtaking views and accommodate a lounge and sundeck overlooking the beautiful nature conservation area. It also has his and hers mould washbasins, en-suite toilet and cascade shower and private cool-pool. Each 81 square feet bed rests under a romantic high-canopied netting and canvas tent which can be closed at night against insects.

The private thatched lounge overlooks rolling volcanic slopes and the Lake Natron basin and I solely for the use of Little Shompole guests. A long horizon pool with smooth white sundeck stretches out towards Mount Shompole and is an ideal place to relax and soak up the equatorial sunshine.

Early dinners are provided for children as well as a child minding service for the convenience of the guests. In order to take full advantage of the attractions in the area it is recommended that guest stay for a minimum of three to four days.
