Naibor

Naibor is nestled in a grove of riverine forests on the banks of the Talek River within the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is situated in southern Kenya. Consisting of sweeping canvas tents, king beds, comfortable sofas and airy varandas, the camp is a luxurious base from which to explore this beautiful area. The camp is a striking combination of contemporary style, comfort and muted bush colors. Since Naibor is located at the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, it is fortunate to be able to offer its guests the most amazing diversity of wildlife throughout the year. It is 280km from Nairobi and 110km from Narok.

Naibor is also well positioned for the wildebeest migration, being within twenty minutes from all major Mara River crossings. In addition to game drives in the surrounding game reserves we can also offer the excitement of game-viewing on foot or motorbikes outside the reserve.

Accommodation at Naibor consists of:

Spacious pale tents accommodate king size beds of fig wood with soft quilts, wide sofa’s furnished with bolster cushions and wool rugs, each positioned for the maximum enjoyment of the surrounding views and privacy. Each guest tent is a private unit complete with his and hers mould wash basins, en-suite bathroom with flush toilets and safari shower filled daily with hot water at request.

The tents nestle amongst African Green Heart trees and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife. The tents are furnished with solid, comfortable furniture so that guests have the ultimate in camping luxury to come back to after an exciting game drive or walk

Early dinners are provided for children as well as a child minding service for the convenience of the guests. In order to take full advantage of the attractions in the area it is recommended that guest stay for a minimum of three to four days.
