Accommodation at the elegant Borana Lodge is made up of 8 eight very roomy and private guest cottages. The cottages are exquisitely furnished with luxurious style. Furniture made from leather and cedar wood from dead trees, add to the sophisticated country look. Each room has en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, an open fireplace for chilly evenings, private veranda and a dressing room. Extra beds can gladly be arranged for children. A generator provides electricity in the mornings and evenings. There is a bar, an amazing infinity swimming pool and a dining room which all look out over the salt lick and waterhole often frequented by animals especially elephants, who routinely bath in the water.
Go on breathtaking Game drives with trackers and rangers whose vast knowledge of the fauna and flora in these parts of Kenya is truly something to behold. There are wonderful game walks with very experienced guides, night game drives, exploring the ranch on horseback, enjoy meals in the bush – extraordinary fresh cuisine when and where you’d like it served, admiring the spectacular views from the relaxing infinity pool, or marvel at the nocturnal bird and animal life after dinner.
