The Garden Villa

Alfajiri Villas are considered by many as the finest villas in the South Coast. The Garden Villa, located at Diani Beach, South Coast, is a lavish High Makuti roofs and ivory Danish floors furnish the villa. Wooden beams, Lamu doors and African and Far Eastern artifacts decorate the interior splendidly. Palm trees from the local nursery create beautiful gardens.

Large verandas with huge hand carved sofas embellish the villa, while a stretch swimming pool on the edge of a small cliff gives you a spectacular view of the ocean while swimming or lounging. The Garden Villa is one of Alfajiri's villas. Alfarji won the 2002 Harpers and Queen award for the private villa providing the best service worldwide, and accommodation is supreme.

8 guests are accommodated in 4 spacious double bedrooms, each with their own large bathroom. All rooms overlook the Indian Ocean. The rooms are air-conditioned with split-level units and mosquito nets. All rooms are decorated differently; the furniture and artifacts have been collected in different countries around the world.

The cuisine is immaculate: fresh seafood on your plate, from the beach below, including some of the best crab, prawns, lobster, octopus and sea fish. Oils, Parma ham and cheeses are flown in weekly from Europe, giving the cuisine a light, Mediterranean spin. Local farms provide the best vegetables, and the fruit is hand-picked from trees and bushes around the area. Special cuisine requests will be considered at The Garden Villa. Quality wines are imported from South Africa and Chile.

Activities are numerous, ranging in levels of intensity. Enjoy unlimited golf with paid green fees and use of golf clubs. An 18 hole course is less than two minutes away from the The Cliff Villa where palm trees, Cashew nut and Casuarina Pine trees line the undulating fairways of this par 72 and 6084-meter course. Less intense activities include snorkeling to the coral reef with local fishermen, using a traditional African boat is an amazing attraction, massages and reflexology and a vehicle available for relaxing local excursions within Diani. Play tennis, squash or chill out on the beach. Other, more intense activities include: diving, kite surfing, the Jet Sky Dolphin Safari, mangrove bird watching, deep-sea fishing (marlin, sailfish, shark, tuna etc.). Safaris can be also be organized.
