Outspan Hotel Kenya, the closest hotel to the spectacular Karuru Falls and with awesome views of Mt. Kenya. Built in 1927, Outspan is a comfortable and elegant retreat fit for a Lord, in fact it was the home of Lord and Lady Baden Powell who lived in the cottage called Paxta. 42 spacious rooms many of which have a cozy fireplace and access to the gardens. There are also 3 cottages available. Meals can be enjoyed in the elegant dining room or on the wide veranda, where you can see Mt. Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa.
